4 C’s of Mental Toughness
We focus on four mental skills that we feel contribute the most to success in sports:
By teaching SKPC athletes how to improve their confidence, sharpen their focus, lower performance anxiety, establish proper goal setting techniques and maximize their motivation, we prepare them for optimal functioning during athletic competition.
They are all learned skills and can be improved with instruction and practice just like any other skill. We work with athletes of all ages and ability levels to help them learn and sharpen these important skills.
We are not only preparing our athletes for success in sports, but we are preparing them for success in life because the same mental skills that are needed to achieve success in sports can also be used to achieve success in other areas of their lives.
